Community Rain Barrel w/ Solidarity Fridge

While i was setting up the paints and pondering what might paint, a wonderful person named Ian sat down to tell me about the mythologies of Central America. Regaling me with his research trips he focused on the rain god Tlaloc and its many iterations through history.

Here is a brief article about Tlaloc

β€œOne of the oldest and most widely worshiped Mesoamerican gods, Tlaloc was the Aztec god of rain and thunder. It was by his blessing that the seasonal rains arrived on time for the vital maize harvest.”
